Configure holidays

Before you start

• Holiday settings are configured per store/location (not at Head Office), unless your Head Office is a single-store setup.
• You can configure either:
  • Holiday hours (closures or adjusted hours), or
  • Holiday surcharge
• You can’t set both a holiday surcharge and holiday hours for the same date in Holiday Settings.

Where to find Holiday Settings

MOBI Admin 

1. From Store Overview, click Settings (dropdown)
2. Click Holidays

Option A — Set a Holiday Surcharge (MOBI storefront only)

1. In Holiday Settings, click ➕ Add
2. Click Add Surcharge
3. Select the date
4. Under Surcharge, enter the amount
5. Click Save

Option B — Set Holiday Hours (closures or adjusted hours)

1. In Holiday Settings, click ➕ Add
2. Select the date
3. Choose one:
   • Store is Closed, or
   • Adjust Opening Hours
4. If adjusting hours, enter the opening & closing times (make sure AM/PM is correct)
5. Click Save

What Holiday Hours Affect

• Holiday hours set in MOBI apply to the MOBI storefront.
• Holiday hours configured in MOBI will push to Uber Eats and DoorDash (when integrated through MOBI).

Key behaviours to know

• Default hours: The hours shown when adding an override are not your existing opening hours for that weekday.
• All order types: Overrides apply to pickup, delivery and eat-in.
• After midnight: Hours can extend into the following day, such as staying open until 2am.
• Previous-day hours: Overrides don’t change hours spilling over from the previous day. Add a separate override if you need to close earlier.
• Customer visibility: Available ordering times will update automatically, but no holiday notice is displayed. Stores should communicate any changes to customers separately.

FAQ's

Can I set a Holiday Surcharge and Holiday Hours on the same day?
No. MOBI Holiday Settings only allow one or the other for the same date.

Will my Holiday Hours update my delivery integrations?
Yes. Holiday Hours will push to Uber Eats and DoorDash when integrated through MOBI.

Will my Holiday Surcharge apply to Uber Eats or DoorDash?
No. Holiday Surcharges set in MOBI only apply to the MOBI storefront.

How do I set Holiday Hours for Skip the Dishes?
Holiday Hours for Skip must be configured by Skip. Contact Skip Support or your Skip Account Manager.
