If you've read through our Help Centre articles, searched high & low & can't find a remedy for your pain, then we can dial into your computer remotely (where POS is located) & check out what is going on by using TeamViewer.
TeamViewer is an application for remote control, desktop sharing, online meetings, web conferencing & file transfers between computers. It will allow us to see what you are you seeing.
Remember
If you want our Support team to dial in remotely to your computer, you will first need to download & install TeamViewer to allow us access so you we can hit the ground running.
Set up TeamViewer access
- Open a new web browser window or tab & click: https://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer_Setup_x64.exe?_gl=1*7v9t1p*_gcl_au*MTI3OTMyOTI1NC4xNzc0NDA1NTYw
- The download should automatically start
- Once downloaded, click on the app to open & run the installation
- You will be taken through the TeamViewer Provide Support Setup
- Select “Default Installation” with “Start TeamViewer with Windows” ticked on then click Accept-next
- Wait for the installer to finish loading.
- After the installer is finished loading Accept the EULA and DPA License Agreement then click Continue
- The installation will be finished afterwards and will show the TeamViewer homepage. Make sure “Start TeamViewer with Windows” and “Grant Easy Access to this device” are ticked on.
- Click the Gear icon in the TeamViewer homepage and go to Advanced Settings. Scroll down until you see the Personal Password section. Set and Confirm the password to be "mobiteamviewer" and hit OK.
- In the TeamViewer Settings click Security and make sure in the Unattended Access section make sure “Easy Access for one manager is granted and hit OK.
- That will finish up the TeamViewer Installation process and is now ready to receive remote Support.
- Communicate your TeamViewer ID and the Personal Password set in the previous step to our Mobi Support team
