Stock availability management
Now more mobile-friendly, with multi-item updates!
No one likes to get to the checkout & find the item is no longer available for you to purchase.
Managing stock in MOBI is simple & it only takes a few seconds to ensure that if an item is Out of Stock, your customers are aware. You can also hide the product/item from the menu if it's no longer going to be served on your menu. Schedule the product to be back In Stock, when you know it will be available.
Stock is managed at an individual Store level, not at a Head Office level (unless you have a single-store Head Office.)
Mark product as Out of Stock, Hidden, or Available again
- To manage the stock in your store, navigate to the Store (if you're from Head Office)
- Click on STOCK in the left navigational panel
- In Stock you can search for your item(s) in the following ways:
- Search via keyword or code
- Filter by any of Menu/Category/Product/Option Group
- Filter by Products or Modifiers
- Filter by current availability
- Locate & click on the items you'd like to edit the availability for. You can edit individual items, or multiple items by ticking the checkbox on the left.
- Click Edit or Edit Availability
- Click on the Sold Out tab to mark the item as Out of Stock
- Or, click on Hidden if you won't be offering this item again in the foreseeable future. This removes the items from the storefront menu.
- By default, the item will be "Unavailable from today until further notice".
- Note: you will need to manually set the item back to Available, when it comes back in stock.
- Click the toggle if you want to add custom dates for when the item will be (un)available.
- The system will automatically return the product to stock just after midnight on the day it will be available again.
- Click OK to submit the changes
- The table will update to show the period the item is unavailable for (e.g. 5 days.)
- Out of Stock products will be semi-transparent on your storefront where the text Sold out will also be displayed.
- If a modifier is marked as Out of Stock, it will simply have a line through it, crossing it out with the text Sold out in the list of modifiers on your storefront.
NOTE: changes can take a few minutes to show on your storefront if you are currently on the web page. However, new customers to your storefront in that time will see the updates. Please wait a few minutes to view your changes on the storefront, or visit an incognito browser to confirm.


Sold out items will show as such on the storefront. Hidden items won't show at all on the storefront menu.
Pro Tip
If you mark a Product as Out of Stock in MOBI, ensure that this is also marked as Unavailable/Out of Stock in your POS. Likewise when marking a product as back In Stock. Otherwise, orders will fail to be dispatched to POS due to the mismatch.
Bring product back into Stock
- To manage the stock in your store, navigate to the Store (if you're from Head Office)
- Click on STOCK in the left navigational pane to access Stock
- Search for & locate the item you're after (e.g. Milk)
- Edit the availability as before, and set it back to Available.
